There are objects that decorate. And there are objects that awaken something.

The HANTARACERET Wish Lamp is a metal censer shaped like an ancient lamp, like those in oriental tales that held a power capable of granting wishes. We have chosen it at Misticarium because it brings together in a single object two traditions that speak of the same thing: the call to good fortune.

The HANTARACERET formula

The magical word HANTARACERET comes from the Picatrix (Gayat al-Hakim), one of the most influential grimoires in the Arabic and European esoteric tradition. Its Book IV describes a complex astrological ritual, performed with the Moon in Aquarius, in which fire, wine, and aromatic spices were used while reciting: Hantaraceret, Hantaraceret (in its original Arabic version, Hantar asrak, bantar asrak). Its purpose was to make a presence appear that could grant a wish.

Fire and aroma. Exactly what this lamp awakens every time you light incense inside it.

The Hundred Blessings

Its body is engraved with variations of the Chinese character 福 (fú), which means good fortune, blessing, happiness, and prosperity. The repetition of this character in different ancient calligraphic styles is reminiscent of the traditional "Hundred Fu" motif (百福图, Bǎi Fú Tú), whose message is: "may a hundred blessings arrive". In Chinese tradition, this motif is placed in the home to attract prosperity, harmony, and protection.

How to use your Wish Lamp

  1. Light your incense inside the lamp.
  2. As the smoke begins to rise, close your eyes and clearly visualize what you wish to achieve.
  3. Repeat twice, slowly and with concentration: Hantaraceret, Hantaraceret. Do it as if you were calling someone powerful who can help you.
  4. Close your request with the phrase: "I strongly desire it. Hantaraceret, Hantaraceret."

If you want to reinforce the ritual, write the word twice on a piece of paper and place it next to the lamp, or carry it with you as a talisman in your pocket or under your pillow.
